INGREDIENTS
4 croissants, sliced into a few slices1 cup (250ml) fresh cream1 cup (250 ml) milk½ cup sugar + 1 tablespoon for sprinkling on top½ teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) (cardamom) powder (optional)few strands saffron (optional) sliced almonds & pistachios (optional)
METHOD
Placed sliced croissants in an oven proof dish.
Mix fresh cream, milk, sugar, Elachi (cardomom) and saffron.
Pour over sliced croissants.
Bake in preheated oven on 180°C for 20 - 30 minutes.
Garnish with sliced almonds and pistachios.
Serve hot or cold.
