INGREDIENTS
2 cups cake flour 2 teaspoons dry yeast 300ml milk ¼ teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon sugar45g margarine or butter.
METHOD
Warm milk, on stove top, add butter to the milk, stir mixture,set aside.
In a mixing bowl add flour, sugar, dry yeast Salt.
Add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients and make a dough. It must be a thickish consistency, not watery. Use milk and butter mixture in moderation.
Make into a large ball, place in a oiled bowl, cover with cling wrap and keep in a warm place until it bulked in size.
Roll into a sausage roll, break into smaller buns. Place these on greased pan. Brush with butter, sprinkle seseme seeds.
Cover with a damp kitchen towel, let it rise double in size.
Bake in preheated oven 200 degrees for at least 15-20 minutes. Each oven differs..
The end result, rolls should be feather lite.
Serve these hot, spread of butter, jam or cheese... Cuppa lekker masala chai😋These are delicious in summer for breakfast with cold cuts and salads.
