2 Cups Flour2 teaspoon melted Butter or ghee (Clarified butter)Pinch of SaltRub well Add 2 teaspoon Baking PowderNow Mix¼ Cup Cold water mixed with ¼ teaspoon lemon juice
AddBeat the above wellNOWAdd to the flour gradually to make a slightly stiff doughLeave it aside for a whileThen make like 12-14 small ballsRoll each ball out into thin tissue Rotis +- Side plate size or even largerDivide into 2 piles
Brush each Roti with Melted Butter or ghee (Clarified butter) Sprinkle Mazina overAnd layer Seal each properly NOW ROLL IT INTO ONE LARGE THIN ROTI FOR BOTH LOTS SEAL EDGES WITH ROSE WATER
Now BRUSH the Last Top Layer OF each Pile with ghee (Clarified butter) & MAZINAROLL UP EACH LARGE ROTI PILE TIGHT LIKE A SWISS ROLLKEEP IN FRIDGE TO FIRM UPSLICE INTO 2 FINGER CUTS Roll out slightly the SIDE it must not be thin FRY IN MED -OILKEEP TRYING TO SPOON OPEN THE SIDE LAYERS WITH OILDRAINON A WIRE RACKPlace grease proof paper or Newspaper On the Rack Place a Tray under the rack so oil don't drip on Table Place the Fried Banana Puris overLet it drain Over night or Whole dayTill most Oils drain out
MAKE SYRUPBY BOILING 2 cup sugar 1 cup Water Few drops of rose essence Cinnamon sticksPOUR 1 tablespoon COLD SYRUP OVER EACH BANANA PURIDECORATE WITH PLAIN OR COLOURED ALMONDS OR DESSICATED COCONUT
