INGREDIENTS
1 cup sugar
¼ cup oil
2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
1 tablespoon apricot jam
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon caramel / vanilla essence
Syrup :
1 cup full cream milk
½ cup water
1 cup brown sugar
150g butter
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180degrees In a mixture beat everything together making a smooth batter . Grease an oven pan ( about medium to small size) Bake for about15 to 20 minutes or until done . If you fund the bottoms are done and centre hasn't cooked lower the temp to 160 and bake until done .
Note : Do not open oven while baking , the center will go in .
Syrup : Add the sugar to the Pan melt a little , add the butter Then rest of the ingredients m boil on low for 5 minutes .
As soon as the Malva comes out of the oven , poke holes everywhere using s toothpick and pour the hot syrup evenly .
Serve with warm custard . Note: ultra Mel custard doesn't not have eggs in it .
