250ml buttermilk (sub. milk/yoghurt)500g chicken strips1 teaspoon garlic paste¼ teaspoon saltFlour mix:1 cup SelfRaising Flour3 tablespoon mochacho spice ½ teaspoon salt2 tablespoon potato starch - optionalOil for fryingMochacho spice in a shaker
METHOD
1. Marinate your chicken strips in the buttermilk, garlic and salt for 3-4 hours or overnight.2. Toss your chicken into the flour mix making sure to coat well and clump the flour onto the chicken so that it lookslumpy.3. Fry in medium hot oil for 7-9 minutes until done. Remove and do not drain. Immediate toss with mochacho spicesprinkle.4. Serve and enjoy!
