INGREDIENTS
1 cup yoghurt/maas2 eggs¼ cup sugar¼ teaspoon salt
3 cups flour125g butter6 teaspoon baking powder
Extra egg and milk mixture for brushing
METHOD
1. Mix yoghurt/maas, eggs, sugar and salt and beat together2. Sift flour and baking powder and rub in butter until it resembles breadcrumbs3. Combine 1 & 2 and add flour if needed to form a manageable but soft dough4. Roll out to 1cm thickness and cut into rounds5. Brush with egg & milk mixture6. Bake at 180° C for 10 to 15 minutes until scones are golden
