INGREDIENTS
3 medium sized chickens cut into 4 piecesIn large dish pour: 1/2cup oil, add in 2 teaspoon tandoori powder, 1Tbs crushed coriander seeds, 2 teaspoon chilli flakes, salt &chilli powder to your taste, 1heap teaspoon garam masala, 2 heap tablespoon coconut powder, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, big pinch saffron, 1heaped teaspoonpaprika, 3Tbs tomato purée, juice of 1 lemon, 1/2cup fried crushed onions, 3Tbs chilli sauce
METHOD
1. wash drain chickens well 2. Make a marinade with ingredients above 3. Add in chickens give it good mix using your hands making sure all masalo has got all over chickens, marinate leaveovernight4. Next day heat up a large wide pan, place chicken pieces in, no need for oil as we already poured oil in, fry on mediumhigh heat till cooked through on both sides5. then remove onto ovenproof tray cover with foil, this can be done from morning, near to lunchtime 6. preheat oven @ 180° place chicken in heat through, 35 to 40min..
I skipped the frying part - cooked in oven directly for 45 minutes. I made half recipe. (1.5 chickens)

Good if you’re looking for a different flavour not the usual tomato and sauces kind!
