INGREDIENTS
125grams butter¾ cup castor sugar1 large egg1 cup dessicated coconut1 teaspoon vanilla essence½ teaspoon baking powder2 tablespoon cocoa powder1 ½ cups cake flourMelted chocolatePeppermint crisp chocolate Aero peppermint chocolate
METHOD
*Combine the butter and the caster sugar.*Add in the egg,coconut and vanilla essence and mix.*Combine with the cocoa and baking powder and for the dough with the flour.*Make the dough slightly softer if you intend using a biscuit gun or nozzle as in the variation.*Press into a greased +- 30cm x 29cm baking pan.*Bake in a preheated oven at 180 for +- 20 minutes. (I rotate the tray half way while baking.)*Cut into squares while warm.*Spread melted chocolate over the biscuits and grated the peppermint crisp chocolate over.
