INGREDIENTS
Nutmeg pinch Orange zest 2 teaspoon Heavy cream 250ml4eggs Sugar ½ cupSalt little bitVanilla essence 1 teaspoonBrioche bread 4 slicesButter
METHOD
-Add nutmeg, salt and orange zest first to a bowl than Add heavy cream-in another bowl add eggs sugar and vanilla essence whisk until you get a custardy consistency Mix together
Let the bread soak in the mixture for a few minutes Fry in butter not oil!! Keep some of the mixture to top over the French toast after it's fried
INFO & TIPS
If you use normal bread don't soak it in the mixture as it will break Brioche bread can handle it because of the thickness normal bread cannot.
Top with icing sugar.
