INGREDIENTS
- 6 Cups flour- ΒΎ teaspoon salt- 5 tablespoon sugar- 1 packet yeast- ΒΌ lb. butter- ΒΌ cup oil- 2 cups warm milk
* Allow Dough to rise Β± 1hr
Chutney
1 big onion1 clove garlic 8 tomatoes2 teaspoon ground green chillies
Make wagar with onion & garlic. Liquidise tomatoes then put to boil till all water burns out. Add to onions with green chillies.
Basic Steak
- 1 kg fillet Steak - 2 teaspoon green chillies - Salt and Pepper - Ginger /Garlic
Add Chilli Sauce , Tomato Sauce, Worcester & cubed red/green peppers once cooked
METHOD
Divide dough into 4 & roll out. Use puri size cutter and yield +- 20 from each part . Spread a little chutney onto half of roti. Put steak filling & sprinkle cheese , fold over to seal. Brush with egg, lightly dust with paprika & parsley & sprinkle khus-khus (poppy seeds)
. Bake in moderate oven 180Β°C until golden.
