INGREDIENTS
1lt Milk1 ½ cup Sugar1 Egg½ teaspoon Yellow food colouring 250g Butter 1 ½ cup Semolina Taystee WheatElachi (cardomom) powder 1 Cinnamon quillA few Saffron threads
METHOD
Mix milk, sugar, egg and food colouring in a bowl and set aside.
Heat butter in a pot and saute wheat semolina with Elachi (cardomom) powder, cinnamon and saffron until fragrant. Add milk mixture to the pot and stir until the mixture thickens and is fully cooked.
INFO & TIPS
Serve with dessert cream and garnish with almonds or pistachios.
