1 cup ghee (Clarified butter) ( place in freezer for +-10min)1 cup Sugar
Beat these 2 ingredients together till fluffy. Then add in 1 egg. Beat well.
Add in 1 teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) ; ΒΌ teaspoon nutmeg
Mix well
Then add in 2 tablespoon Semolina/Taystee Wheat (soji (semolina))
All ingredients should be beaten well together.
Sift 2 and Β½ cups flour with 2 teaspoon baking powder & 1 teaspoon Bicarb.
Add in to your mixture while beating slowly little at a time.
Add in abt 2-4 tablespoon of flour more if required
Roll into ping-pong sized balls. Press down slightly with 1 finger & place half an almond on each. (Dip almond in egg white for it to stick well)
Makes approximately 24.
Space out well on oven tray. (+-12 to a Swiss roll tray)
Bake in oven 180Β°c for 15-20min.
