RECIPE
- In a non stick pot on medium/low heat add :
β’ 1 curry spoon ghee (Clarified butter)β’ 2 litre high cream milkβ’ 1 litre long life milk
- Then add :
β’ 750g carrots grated
- Simmer on medium-high heat occasionally mixing & checking so that it doesnβt stick.
- Add in 250g of butter when mixture has thickened slightly or it lumps together. Use a stick blender to whizz well.
- In a separate pot add:
β’ 2 curry spoons of ghee (Clarified butter)β’ 2 heaped tablespoon taystee wheat
- Into milk mixture add:
β’ 1 tin dessert creamβ’ 250ml fresh cream
- Then add braised Sojee (semolina flour) into milk mixture β¦ you will have to stir more often now to make sure it doesnβt stick
β’ Grind Β½ cup almonds till fine & add into milk mixture
β’ Add 1 Β½ teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) powder to mixture
β’ Let it thicken then add another teaspoon of Elachi (cardomom) powder
β’ After a while add 1 tin of condensed milk & Β½ cup of sugar
Keep mixing over medium to low heat until ghee (Clarified butter) floats to the top
