INGREDIENTS
1 large onion (sliced)2 cinnamon sticks3 cardamom pods½ teaspoon cumin seeds500g beef/or mutton mince1 tablespoon red ginger garlic masala1 tablespoon brown vinegar (optional)½ teaspoon mustard powder (optional)1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon chilli powder1 teaspoon coriander powder1 teaspoon cumin powder¼ teaspoon turmeric powder2 large tomatoes (liquidized)4 eggs (boiled)Coriander (chopped)
METHOD
1. Wash and drain mince.2. Braise onion in oil with whole spices till lightly golden.3. Then add ginger garlic masala, powdered spices and vinegar.4. Braise till fragrant, then add mince.5. Braise the mince till browned and no liquid remains, then add in tomatoes.6. Cook till tomato has reduced, it should be wettish, not dry.7. Whilst mince is cooking, hard boil eggs, peel and rinse.8. Finely dice boiled eggs and add to mince.9. Add chopped coriander and mix in.10. Serve with roti/bread.#whenruhanacooks #ruhanaebrahimrecipes
