Mix together:2 cups flour Pinch salt½ teaspoon cinnamon 2 tablespoon sugar 2 tablespoon butterRub with fingers until incorporated.
Add in 1 egg and whisk slightly.
Mix½ tablespoon vinegar 1 teaspoon vanilla essence ½ cup cold.tap water Add to.flour and form a soft firm dough.
🔸️Wrap in cling wrap. 🔸️Chilll in fridge for 1 hour.🔸️Roll out. Cut rounds.🔸️Prick with a fork.🔸️Place cannoli tube in the centre of disc. This time, I used pastry cones .🔸️Fold over sealing with egg.🔸️Deep fry on medium heat.🔸️Remove carefully 🔸️Fill with cream or ricotta 🔸️Dip ends in chocolate
Tips:✨️ Dough can be kept in freezer for ½ hour.✨️ you can use water to seal, worked out fine for me.✨️If you don't have cannoli tubes, you can make using foil as shown in the reel.
I dipped half in dark chocolate and filled with cream
The other half I dipped ends in dew choc caramel chocolate and dipped in nibbed peanuts and filled with cream
