Icing- An Eastern Western Adventure
INGREDIENTS
2 Eggs, seperated180 gr ButterΒ½ cup Castor sugar2&Β½ cups Flour1 teaspoon Vanilla essence1&ΒΌ cups Milk2&Β½ teaspoon Baking powder
Mock Icing- 200 gr Butter, softened2 cups Icing sugar 2 teaspoon Boiling water 2 teaspoon Oil2 teaspoon Milk
METHOD
Beat the egg whites stiff and put aside.Cream the Butter and sugar, add the egg yolks one and at a time and beat well after each yolk.Pour in the rest of the ingredients and beat.Lastly, mix in the egg whites. Pour half the batter into a well greased round cake pan.Sprinkle chopped pecans and dust cocoa powder over.Pour the rest of the batter over and bake on 180 degrees till done.Cut the cake in half, spread half the icing on and dust some cocoa over.Place the other half of the cake on top and spread the remaining icing. Dust cocoa over and decorate as desired.
Icing - Cream the Butter and sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients and beat well.
