INGREDIENTS
4 and ½ cups milk3 tablespoon butter3 tablespoon flour3 tablespoon maizena (corn flour)3 eggs1 teaspoon vanilla essence¾ cup sugarPinch of salt
METHOD
Boil 4 cups milk with 3 tablespoon butter and stir continuously on low heat.
Beat remaining ingredients with half cup milk. Add to milk and cook till thick. Divide into half and pour onto crust.
CRUST:1 cup flour½ level tablespoon butterPinch salt1 egg1 tablespoon sugar1 teaspoon baking powder
Make dough with ¼ cup milk. Dough must be very soft. Divide into half. Line 2 pie dishes and pat dough into it. Bake on 180°C till golden brown.
INFO & TIPS
Make mixture after the crust is baked. It gets thick very quickly.
