RECIPE
For the balls:
1 cup Klim (milk powder)
¼ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon oil
1 egg (beaten)
Mix together to form a sticky but manageable dough.Roll into small smooth balls (oil your hands if needed).
For the milk syrup:
1 litre milk
6 tablespoon sugar
¾ teaspoon cardamom powder
½ teaspoon rose essence
Bring milk, sugar, cardamom, and rose essence to a gentle boil.Carefully drop in the milk powder balls.Once they begin to swell, lower the heat and cook for about 10 minutes.
Pour into individual dessert jars, top with silver leaf and a sprinkle of toasted almonds.
Serve well chilled!
