INGREDIENTS
300 ml coconut milk OR full cream milk
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 and a half slice bread (remove crust)
100 ml condensed milk
2 TB dessicated coconut
To decorate:Fresh creamDessicated coconutGlace cherries
METHOD
In a bowl,add the milk and bread and mash until you have a smooth mixture.
Add in the egg and beat well,followed by the vanilla essence,condensed milk and coconut.
Mix well and steam in a dish that is filled half-way with water on the stove or bake at 180 for 20 minutes until done.(Baking also requires a water bath)
Allow to cool before spreading cream,coconut and cherries.
Serve chilled.
