RECIPE
Step 1
1 cup sugar1 egg
Beat well in a bowl and add 1 Tablespoon apricot jam.
Step 2
1 cup flour¼ cup self raising flour1 teaspoon baking powderpinch of salt
Sift all together.
Step 3
1 tablespoon melted butter1 teaspoon vinegar1 cup milk1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
Mix together
Add all above ingredients, mixing to-gether alternately.
Grease a large pyrex with spray cook and pour mixture. Bake open in a preheated oven of 180°C. Bake for 35 minutes.
Only check after 35 minutes or will sink!
Poke with a fork all over once done then pour sauce all over.
Sauce
1 cup milk4 tablespoon klim60 ml butter (4 ½ tablespoons)1 cup sugar½ cup hot water1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Bring to a boil.
Pour sauce over pudding as soon as it's baked.
Serve warm with Custard

Homemade Custard
1 litre milk
1 ex-large egg
1 tabsp mazeina heaped
2 tbsp custard pauder heaped
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp klim (if available)
½ cup sugar
½ cup water
Put milk on stove to boil
Mix balance of ingredients and add to hot milk. Boil till thick.
