INGREDIENTS
25g softened butter30g castor sugar30g flour40g almond flour1 teaspoon cornflour A generous pinch of baking powderPlus minus 30 to 40 ml milk to make a thin but spreadable paste1-2 croissantsIcing sugar for dustingFlaked almonds ( as much as you like for the topping)Simple sugar syrup (1 part water to 2 parts sugar)
METHOD
Slice the croissant in half (horizontally)
Brush with the syrup.
Mix the softened butter,sugar,flour,almond flour,corn flour and the baking powder together.
Add the milk to make a thin spreadable paste.Now,spread this paste evenly on the croissant.
Also spread some onto the top of the croissant. Sprinkle flaked almonds on the top.
Place in a hot oven or Airfryer for 5 to 8 minutes. (Be careful not to burn the croissant)
Allow to cool.
Dust with icing sugar and Enjoy!
