INGREDIENTS
2-3 medium potatoes peeled and chopped (par-cook in microwave or stove)2 TB ghee (Clarified butter)1 teaspoon oil1 onion chopped2 teaspoon curry leaves (chop or leave whole)2 teaspoon finely chopped mint leaves (chop or leave whole)2 teaspoon mustard seeds2 teaspoon Jeeru (Cumin) seeds1 teaspoon chilli powder1 teaspoon kashmiri chilli powder 1 teaspoon tumeric powderHalf teaspoon garum masala2 teaspoon dhania (coriander) and Jeeru (Cumin) powder2 teaspoon lemon juiceAromat (a South African Spice) and salt to taste
METHOD
Heat ghee (Clarified butter) and oil in a pot.Allow to sizzle then add the Jeeru (Cumin) seeds and mustard seeds. Next add the chopped onion
Next;add the potatoes followed by all the spices and lemon juice. Then add the mint leaves and curry leaves. Mix well.
Add a little water and cook until soft.
