Half cup semolina 1 tin condensed milk Beat above together for 5 minutes half cup milk 2 eggs 4 tablespoon melted butter half teaspoon elachie powder 4 teaspoon baking powder pinch of salt 3 or 3 and quarter cups flour ( do not use more than this- if dough still sticky- oil your hands with ghee (Clarified butter) when forming jambos)
2 cups of sugar 4 cups of water 1 teaspoon rose water
Shape dough into jambos and fry on low heat. Dip warm jambos in syrup and roll in coconut. This recipe is tried and tested- flop proof!
