½ cup water 1 L Milk 1 teaspoon faluda powder 1 tablespoon Corn Flour 1 tablespoon Custard powder 1 tin condensed milk 1 small tin nestle dessert cream ¼ teaspoon elachie powder fruits of choice (strawberries,kiwis,grapes,etc.)
Water Faluda for top 500ml water ½ cup sugar ¾ teaspoon faluda powder
Make a paste with cornflour and custard powder and a little water. Mix ½ cup water and faluda and bring to a boil and add paste. Quickly add milk and elachie and whisk till thick. ( You have to work very fast) Now add cream and condensed milk and beat well with an egg beater. Cool and allow to set. Decorate with freshly sliced fruit.
Boil together ingredients for water faluda till done. Allow to cool slightly and carefully spoon over the sliced fruit and allow to set. Once set it will look like its a glass-topped dessert. Refrigerate and serve!
