Train Cake

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients
• 2 loaf cakes
• 1 Swiss Roll
• Butter Icing
• Green, Blue and Red food colouring
• 1 packet Liquorice rope
• 1 packet Bakers Boudoir Biscuits
• 1 packet Bakers Choc-o-Break
• 1 box Smarties
• 1 packet Marshmallows
• 1 Toothpick
• Round sweets of your choice

METHOD

Instructions

1. Slice two squares from the two loaves of cake and
hollow out a rectangle at the tops

2. Place one of these standing upright on the blue
carriage(as seen in the pic) and the other on the
swiss roll

3. Using liquorice rope and Bakers Boudoir biscuits,
create the train track.

4. Place each ‘carriage’ on the track

5. Ice each loaf a different colour and trim the inner
rectangle with liquorice rope or black icing (mix all
food colours together)

6. Ice the swiss roll portion to create the engine.

7. Outline the edges with liquorice

8. Make the wheels by sticking a smartie onto a choc o
break with some icing.

9. Stick the wheels onto each carriage with some icing

10. Fill each carriage with sweets

11. Finish the front of the train with a choc o break and
round sweets

12. Make the steam by placing marshmallows onto a
toothpick.
