1 kg prawns, (deveined, butterflied) 2 teaspoon crushed garlic 2 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon red chilli powder Marinate for an hour all the above.
Sauce: 1pkt Cheese Sauce (not the powder pack) 2 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon garlic flakes Half teaspoon salt 2 tablespoon butter ½ cup fresh cream 1 teaspoon parsley
Sauce:In a saucepan melt butter and add garlic flakes, simmer for 1 minute and add rest of ingredients except fresh cream. Bring to boil then remove from heat and add fresh cream. Green chillies may be added optional. PrawnsHeat oven grill on 220 degrees.Lay prawns on a tray butterflied, shell down.When grill hot, pop prawns in for about 8-10 minutes or until they are pink and curling.Remove from oven, pour sauce over and serve with chips and garlic roll.
INFO & TIPS
Do not overcook prawns as they become chewy.
Mix sauce constantly while on heat.
Sauce can be made in advance and reheated before serving.
