INGREDIENTS
1 chicken cut in to pieces
butter
1 teaspoon whole Jeeru (Cumin)
2 cups rice it can be a little more - cooked
½ green pepper cut into smallish chunks
1 tomato cut into smallish chunks
1 medium onion cut into smallish chunks
Marinade:
1 tablespoon cruhsh garlic
3 Tablespoons tikka sauce
1 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoon oil
Black pepper
Salt to taste
2 tablespoon aminas tandoori masala
1 tbp aminas tikka marinade
½ teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon Jeeru (Cumin) powder
½ teaspoon dhania (coriander) powder
½ chillie powder
juice of fresh lemon
Stir fry
garlic butter
2 tablespoon spice for rice
1 cup julliened carrots
½ cup cubed colour peppers
½ chopped onion
1 cup mushroom sliced
4 potatoes cubed, spiced and fried
2 cups chedder
METHOD
boil rice, it will be regular fully cooked white rice. heat garlic butter, stir fry veggies and mix together with rice
marinate chicken.
heat butter, add Jeeru (Cumin). then chicken, cook till ¾ qaurter done
Then add all your vegetable's onions, tomatoes, pepper .
Cover the pot and cook. The mixture will be not too dry and not to watery.
set ¾ rice at the bottom of the Casserole .Next pour over our chicken mixture, Top with potatoes, remainder rice and cheese and garnish with chopped dhania (coriander) and dry mixed herbs. cover with a foil.
grill in oven for 20 minutes
