INGREDIENTS
500g Klim full cream milk powder
half cup of water
1 cup of sugar
half a tin of Nestle condensed milk
1 or 2 teaspoon Elachi (cardomom)/cardomom powder
125g butter
155g Nestle dessert cream
3-4 teaspoon almond powder
coloured almond nibs to decorate
METHOD
Combine milk powder and dessert cream until it resembles bread crumbs. Add almond powder and mix well.
On the stove, bring water and sugar to a boil until sugar is dissolved.Add butter and Elachi (cardomom) powder to this mixture.Add condensed milk and combine until creamy.Add milk powder mixture to the pot.Mix well on LOW heat until the mixture can be easily spooned away from the sides of the pot.
Remove from heat and allow to cool for about 20 minutes.
Set in a glass dish, decorate with coloured almond nibs and cut into squares when set.
Or mould into small balls and place in mini foil cups/ mini cupcake cases.
