1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup golden syrup
Melt together in a saucepan on high heat..allow to cool slightly..transfer to kenwood bowl..beat in
1 tablespoon vanilla
Beat till smooth
½ cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 ¼ cups cake flour
2 teaspoon coffee dissolve in 1 tablespoon hot water
Pour into a greased square pan..bake at 180 for 25-30 minutes..
1 ½ cup icing sugar
2 tablespoon softened butter
1 tablespoon golden syrup
1 ½ teaspoon coffee dissolve in 1 tablespoon hot water
Sift icing sugar,mix in butter and syrup..add a little hot water and mix until smooth..
Ice over cake whilst cake still warm..cut in squares or bars
