RECIPE
1 cup rice
Boil with a pinch of tumeric until soft
Prepare a syrup with
¾ cup water
1 ¼ cup sugar
Few strands of saffron
Braise in a little ghee (Clarified butter)
Some sultanas,and 3 whole Elachi (cardomom) pods
Add syrup,rice, 1 grated pineapple and 1 tablespoon lemon juice..toss and turn lightly till rice is well coated
Close lid and leave in a moderate oven for 10-15 minutes
