RECIPE
Saute one sliced onion with whole Jeeru (Cumin),2 slit whole green chillies and little ghee (Clarified butter)
Then add
Baby brinjals sliced in half
Add
Crushed red chillies
Salt
Dhana Jeeru (Cumin)
¼ teaspoon crushed garlic
Lemon juice
Tandoori spice
Add ¼ cup yogurt or sourmilk
Add one chopped tomato and cook on low till brinjal is soft
HOMEMADE ROLLS
5 cups flour
15ml salt
10ml sugar
10g instant dry yeast
25g margarine
100ml luke warm milk
2 large eggs beaten
200ml luke warm water
Beaten egg,,to brush.
Mix flour,salt and sugar together..add yeast and mix..rub in the margarine..add milk,beaten egg and enough of the lukewarm water to form a soft dough..knead well until smooth and elastic..cover with plastic and allow to rise..once risen,knock down,divide in equal balls and shape as desired..I rolled each ball into a long strip,and just pulled one side into the other..brush egg on each and sprinkle with thill (sesame seeds) (sesame seeds) or parsley..place on a greased tray..and allow to rise in a warm place.....once risen bake in a preheated oven on 180 for ±20 minutes..when comes out it will be hard..cover with a cloth and will soften soon...enjoy
