INGREDIENTS
500g Mutton2 Elachi (cardomom) pods1 cinnamon stick2 cloves4 peppercornsOil as required1 large onion2 big tomatoes1 small tin tomato paste1 teaspoon ginger garlic masala1 teaspoon crushed garlic1 teaspoon salt2 teaspoon red chilli powder2 tablespoon vinegar
1 heaped teaspoon ground dhania (coriander)1 heaped teaspoon ground jeeru (cumin)½ teaspoon turmeric (hayder/haldi)1 teaspoon garam masala1 cup plain yoghurt
2 potatoes (cut in wedges)
METHOD
Heat oil in pot and add Elachi (cardomom) pods, cinnamon stick, cloves, and pepper corns. Once sizzling add chopped onion and cook till pinkish. Then add mutton, tomatos, tomato paste, salt, vinegar, ginger garlic masala, crushed garlic and red chilli powder. Cook on low heat until meat is almost done then add: ground dhania (coriander), jeeru (cumin), turmeric, garam masala and yoghurt.
Lastly add potato wedges and cook on low till meat and potatoes are done. Garnish with chopped dhania (coriander).
