INGREDIENTS
Dough:
¼ pound butter
½ cup sugar Beat together
1 egg
2 teaspoon baking powder
Add sufficient flour to bind dough ± 2
cups
Filling:
½ litre milk
¼ cup sugar
½ tin condensed milk
2 sticks cinnamon
Bring to boil
Paste:
2 tablespoon maizena (corn flour)
1 egg
Few drops vanilla essence
METHOD
Grease pyrex and pat dough bringing the
edges upwards.
Add above paste to boiled filling
mixture
Beat to avoid lumps
Allow to thicken
Add 1 oz butter
Remove from stove
Pour into pastry shell and bake @ 160°
till
edges are pink.
