2 cups oil dholl
Boil in salt water with cinnamon stix,few Elachi (cardomom) pods and few cloves
1 cup barley
1 cup rice
Boil in salted water
Liquidize both boiled mixtures together
in ghee (Clarified butter)/oil braise the ffg
Chopped green pepper
3 Chopped onions
Garlic slices
Curry leaves
Whole Jeeru (Cumin)
Ginger pieces
Add in 1 chicken
Add lemon juice
Ginger garlic
Crushed green chillies
Chilli powder
Haldi
Dhana Jeeru (Cumin) crushed pepper
Salt
Add liquidized mixture and boil for 2-3 hours
Shred chicken
Make a vagaar of onion slices,garlic slices,Jeeru (Cumin) and whole green chillies
Pour over haleem
Add loads ofchopped dhania (coriander) and shallot
Add garum masala and salt and chillies to taste
