INGREDIENTS
600g beef mince
1 large can tomato puree
1can tomato paste
5tbs chilli powder
2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ginger and garlic
1chopped onion
2 tablespoon vinegar
6 tablespoon sugar
3 tablespoon oil
1 and ½ cans boiling water
METHOD
Braise onion in oil. Add mince ginger and garlic, and vinegar. Cook till white. Add chilli powder and salt. Allow spice to cook in. Add tomatoe puree and paste and cook. Add water. Cook on medium heat for half hour. Add sugar and simmer for 15mins.taste for salt. Lots of gravy will form the mince sauce.
Make white sauce:
4 tablespoon butter
½ cup flour
1 and ½ litres of milk
Salt and pepper to taste.
Melt butter. Add flour. Cook till bubbles. Add milk gradually. Add salt and pepper. It should nt b a thick white sauce. A little weak. Use raw lasagne sheets.
Layer as follows: White sauce, Lasagne, White sauce, Mince, Lasagne, Mince, White sauce, Lasagne, White sauce, Parsley.
Allow to stand for 30mins. Bake for 40mins at 180 degrees. Then allow to stand for 40 minutes and serve.
