INGREDIENTS:1 dzn mini hot dog rolls2 tablespoon butter1 punnet button mushrooms (sliced)½ teaspoon white/ lemon pepper½ teaspoon salt / Aromat (a South African Spice)¼ teaspoon coriander powder¼ teaspoon cumin powder1 tablespoon crushed garlic1 teaspoon ground green chillies250ml fresh cream½ - 1 tin creamstyle sweetcornGrated cheese (of choice)Dried mixed herbsChives/parsley (chopped)
METHOD
1. Heat butter in pan. Add garlic and chillies, saute with spices. 2. Add mushrooms. Cook until just tender. 3. Pour in cream & add corn.4. Simmer until thickened. 5. Slit rolls lengthwise and lay in an oven proof dish. 6. Pour sauce into slits and over rolls. 7. Sprinkle cheese and dried herbs and melt in hot oven. 8. Garnish with chopped greens.
