INGREDIENTS
500gr Pasta (Screws,Macaroni. Shells,etc)
600gr Tenderised Steak cut into strips
1 tablespoon Steak & chop spice
Salt & black pepper to taste
2 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoon oil
1 large onion chopped
2 lrg tomatoes or half can whole
1-2 green chillies
1 clove garlic
half teaspoon sugar
salt & black pepper to taste
half teaspoon dry origanum
METHOD
Use only ¾ pack of pasta of choice
Boil according instr on packet(DONT
OVERCOOK & DONT FORGET TO ADD SALT!!)
Strain and lightly rinse under tap. Keep
aside.
Add spice and seasoning to steak strips
and fry in oil-about five minutes.
Strips can be fried all in in go in
large heavy based pan or pot Keep aside.
In pan, add oil & fry onions untill soft
about ten minutes, add tomatoes, chillies,
seasoning and origanum. Cook covered
about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally,
adding water if necessary.
Sauce must be not be too watery neither
too thick. Add sugar and cook further 2
minutes.
Use same pot used to cook steak in to
assemble all ingredients.
Place noodles in pot, add steak and
lastly tomatoe sauce - gently mix
together and add 2 tablespoon hot water. Heat
gently for 5mins and serve
INFO & TIPS
For a real Italian flavour, add grated
parmesan and drizzles of olive oil just
before serving
