INGREDIENTS
250 g
butter, softened
1 cup
(160g) icing sugar, sifted
2 ½ cups
(375g) plain flour
METHOD
Beat butter and sifted sugar in large bowl with electric mixer until light and fluffy. (This is the stage where you will add your flavour additions )Stir in flour,
Knead dough on lightly floured surface until smooth. Divide dough in 3 parts . color accordingly . make your choice of patterns. Wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate about 10 minutes or until firm.
Preheat oven to 180°C Grease oven trays; line with baking paper.
Cut logs into 1cm slices; place slices on trays about 2cm apart. Bake 10 minutes or until browned lightly. Transfer onto wire rack to cool.
