INGREDIENTS
500 grams steak mince, washed and drained.
METHOD
STEP 1- Make vagaar with half an onion. add cinnamon sticks, cloves, peepercorns.
STEP 2- Add mince and salt, arad (Turmeric), dhanna jeeroo, ginger garlic masala. cook till done. then add half tin tomato puree & 1 grated tomato - simmer for 15 minutes. set aside.
STEP 3- fry 2 potatoes cut in ¼'s.
STEP 4- Boil 3 cups rice together with 1 cup mix veg til rice is halfway done. drain. ASSEMBLE- in pot layer oil/ghee (Clarified butter). put half rice & veg, then all the cooked mince, then remaining rice, then potatoes. Add another half an onion vagaar on top. steam till rice is done.
Serve with raita! Enjoy
