Besan ki burfee
Besan/ Chana Flour:- 4 Cups
ghee (Clarified butter):-1 ¼ cup
Elaichi:- 1 teaspoon
Mawa:- 175 gm
Sugar:- 1 ½ Cup
Water:- 2 ⅓ cups
Heat the ghee (Clarified butter) in a pan(preferably kadai) and add Chana flour in it,keep the heat on mid to low flame and stir continuously.
After sometime you will notice the ghee (Clarified butter) is coming out of the flour and flour will become light and fluffy , now the flour is done and ready.
Switch off the stove and mix the mawa and Elaichi powder in the Chana flour.
4)Now prepare the sugar syrup by adding sugar and water. Heat them in medium to law flame (we need to prepare one string syrup consistency it takes about 10-15 minutes.)
Then add the sugar syrup in to the fried chana flour and stir well.
Transfer in to a greased plate and cut in to pieces of desired sizes. (Sprinkle some slivered nuts or dessicated coconut)
Let it cool completely before removing the pieces from the plate ... Enjoy:}
