Flour surface area and roll out pie pastry.
Cut rounds of your pie pastry.
You will need one for bottom and one for top.
Make a paste of lai with water and flour to seal rounds.
Use a filling of choice to spoon onto center of rounds.
Smear lai around rim of circle.
Place on lolipop stick at one end.
Close with other circle and press down with a fork.
Brush egg onto pies.
Sprinkle sesame seeds/dried herbs.
(Freezer suitable now).
Bake in preheated oven at 180degC for aprox 30min till golden and puffed.
