Gem squash mac and cheese

Recipe adapted from Naqiyah Mayat
Slice gem squash in halves, remove seeds
Steam on low heat in a little salted water until done.
Neatly scoop out the insides and add to a pot
Use your stick blender pulse it
Then put it on low heat with about 1 tablespoon butter and 1 teaspoon flour
Mix well. Add in 1⁄4 cup steamed sweet corn.
Add about 1 cup fresh cream and a 1⁄4 teaspoon crushed green chilli. Mix well
Season to taste.
Add 1⁄2 cup cheese and toss in your preboiled elbow macaroni
Sprinkle over more cheese and place under grill for about 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley or dhania (coriander) and a little chilli powder or chilli flakes.
