Buffalo Wings

INGREDIENTS

1 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
Oil- for frying
About 18-20 wings split at the joint (make 36-40 pieces)
½ cups butter, melted
2 tablespoon lemon juice
½ cup hot sauce- any of your choice

METHOD

Preheat oven to 190ºC

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt and chilli powder

In a pan, pour in the oil (enough for deep frying). Place over the stove until it’s warm enough for frying.

Roll the wings in the flour mixture and fry in three batches until lightly browned- about 10-12 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine the butter, lemon juice and hot sauce. Toss the fried wings in the sauce. Put the wings onto a foil lined baking tray and cover the try with foil. Bake for about 30-40 minutes
