INGREDIENTS
750g tenderized steak or fillet steak
3 medium onions
3 carrots
coarsely ground black pepper to taste
1 tin (410g) French-cut green beans
3 cups shredded cabbage
125ml oil
250g spaghetti
5ml salt
MARINADE:
50ml soya sauce
15ml worcestershire sauce
1ml ginger paste
15ml brown sugar
METHOD
Cut steak into strips. Mix marinade ingredients together & add to the meat.Leave to marinate 1 hour. Slice onions & cut carrots into julienne strips. Heat oil in a wok or large flat pot. Stir-fry first the meat strips, few at a time, until just cooked.Remove from pan, add onions, carrots & cabbage. Boil spaghetti in salted water until al-dente.Return fried ingredients to wok, add the drained green beans. Season with salt & pepper. Mix lightly & heat thoroughly. Drain pasta & spoon it into a large serving dish (don\'t rinse pasta under cold water). Make a hollow in the centre & spoon the hot meat mixture into it. Serve hot.
