4 large eggs
3⁄4 cup sugar
1⁄2 cup boiling water
1⁄4 cup cocoa powder - sifted
1⁄4 cup oil
1 cup flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
Mix boiling water with cocoa until smooth and set aside .
Beat eggs until smooth.
Add sugar and continue beating until light and creamy.
Add oil and cocoa mixture and beat until well combined.
Fold in sifted flour .
Sprinkle baking powder over batter and allow to stand for 5 minutes before gently folding ..
Pour batter into 2 well greased shallow 20cm round tins.
Bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutues ..
Cool completely ..
