INGREDIENTS
1 cup castor sugar
125g butter
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
2 cups cake flour
10ml baking powder
few pods Elachi (cardomom) (seeds removed)
drop of egg yellow (optional)
METHOD
Cream butter & sugar. Beat in eggs one by one. Add colouring. Add finely crushed Elachi (cardomom). Stir in sifted flour & milk alternately. Beat for a short while. Lastly stir in baking powder. Pour into greased & lined loaf pan Bake +/- 25-30 minutes. Leave to cool completely. Sift icing sugar over the cake. Enjoy.
