Ingredients: 1 cup white rice (bimrie) 400g can coconut milk ½ cup water ¾ teaspoon rough salt (Optional- 1 piece cinnamon stick)
Garnish (optional)- Fresh fried onions 3 whole green chillies (fried)
Method: Combine ingredients in deep pot over med-high heat. Cover with a lid and bring to boil. Turn down heat to low then leave to simmer for 15-20 minutes until all the liquid has been absorbed. Remove from heat and allow to rest for at least 5 minutes before serving. May garnish with onions and chillies.
