1 cup apple grated 2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter) 1⁄4 cup milk
For kheer:- 500 ml kheer Pinch of saffron 16 teaspoon sugar 1⁄4 cup mawa/khoya 1⁄4 cup chopped almonds,pistachios and cashews 1 teaspoon jeera water/essence 1⁄3 cup sago soaked in water.
In a pan pan,add ghee (Clarified butter) and when its slightly hot add the chopped apples and fry them on medium flame till fragrant.
Let it cool and then grind them with 1/4th Cup milk.
In the same pan,add milk and let it boil.
Make sure it does not get burned. Add sugar and khoya/mawa to it and let it get mixed well cooked. Now add soaked SAGO.
When milk start to thicken,add dry fruits chopped. Add the ground apple paste. Mix well.
When its slightly thick,add Kesar (saffron) (saffron) and kewra essence.
Mix well and switch off the gas.
Keep this kheer in fridge and serve chilled topped with sliced pistachios.
