INGREDIENTS
1 cup ghee (Clarified butter)
1 cup castor sugar
¼ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
¼ teaspoon Elachi (cardomom)
1 cup coconut
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon baking powder
Enough flour to make a soft but firm dough
METHOD
Beat butter & sugar till light and fluffy.Add in egg yolk and then add in bicarb,Elachi (cardomom),coconut & baking powder.Lastly Add in flour.
Roll into balls (size should be when the tips of you thumb & index touch)
Place on a well greased tray and press almond on to the dough (press very lightly,just enough to crack the dough a bit)Bake at 180 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
