Butter beans: 1 tin of butter beans in salted water 1 medium onion 3 small tomatoes (liquidized) 1 cup of baby spinach leaves 1 teaspoon Salt 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon arad (Turmeric) 1/2 teaspoon dhana jeeru (cumin) powder 1 teaspoon Fresh green garlic (looks like springonions) Fry light spray
Dumplings: 1 cup plain flour 1 teaspoon baking powder Salt Chilli powder 1 spray of frylight Equal amnts of warm water and milk(mixed) +-¼ cup
Butter beans: 1.)cook onions in a non stick pot with fry light spray till golden brown in colour 2.)add tomatoes,green garlic and all the spices and cook on medium heat for +-15mins 3.)drain the butter beans and add to the above,add the baby spinach leaves and leave to simmer on low For +-10mins ... Add +- 1/2cup boiling water and boil on high (add dumplings to this,cover with lid and cook till dumplings have doubled in size and cooked through +-10mins ...do not remove lid while dumplings are cooking as they will shrink!)
-serve immediately :)
Dumplings: 1.)Mix all dry ingredients together, add the warm milk/water and mix to form a stickyish dough 2.)roll into balls with a bit of flour and drop into boiling butter beans.

1.)This could be served as butter beans bunny if you don't want to make dumplings :)
2.)Serve with masala steak if the men in your house need something meaty on the side :)
